Fairfield is the southernmost neighbourhood in the city of Victoria and is characterized by quiet tree lined streets and fine heritage homes and buildings some dating back to the late Victorian and Edwardian periods. Most of the lands where once owned by Sir James Douglas who named it Fairfield Farm. Today Fairfield is one of the most sought after neighbourhoods in Victoria.
